(Needs revamp) Korona Subspecies and Mutation

Description

I tried but I can't draw smoke to save my life orz
Here are the subspecies I had in mind for a while. I call them subspecies because I think the physical differences are too significant to simply call them mutations. However, the aetheral mutation can be found in any of these builds.
As I said earlier, the incoming Halloween adopts will feature each one of these subspecies/mutation!

Common Korona :
It's the average build, equally efficient on the ground and in the air.

Velox Korona :
These Koronae developed their efficiency on the ground, at the cost of their ability to fly. Their long legs give them a more slender shape, improving their speed, agility and stamina on the ground. Some velox Koronae still possess vestigial wings, but it's not rare for them to be completely missing.

Serpens Korona :
They're characterized by their elongated build. It's not unusual for them to a have multiple pairs of wings to support their long body in flight. Thus, they are faster and more agile fliers than the common build. They also possess a bony tail, very rare otherwise. Serpens Koronae love soaring in the sky where they can move freely, rather than staying on the ground with this ungainly body.

Aetheral mutation :
All Koronae can naturally produce a smoke-like gas, with an organ situated near their lungs. It's mainly used in hunting, preventing the preys from accurately detecting where the attacks come from. It's also a defense mechanism, scaring off predators and other threats.
A rare mutation makes them able to excrete this gas through their skin pores, especially where the feathers are the longest (mane, tail...). This greater production of smoke makes them more efficient at hunting. Also, Koronae with this mutation are more likely to have a higher place in the hierarchy, due to their imposing features.
All subspecies can present the aetheral mutation.

<3 I have so many things to say but I shall restrict myself, also a lot has been said below!
Instead I have a question- the common Koronas have different wing types- is this the same for Serpens etc? Many thanks!
lovelovelove them all
